1. Introduction
Welcome to SonicScoop Music, a digital music distribution service owned and operated by Weird.inc Group Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company No. [Insert Company Number]) with its registered office at 60 Gordon Road, Poole, BH12 1EB, UK.
By subscribing to and using our services (either as an Artist or a Label), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy and Distribution Agreement.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
To register and use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old (or have verifiable legal guardian consent)

Have the legal right to distribute the music/content you upload

Provide accurate and complete registration information

Agree to these Terms of Use and the relevant distribution agreement
3. Subscription Plans
SonicScoop Music offers various subscription models:
For Artists:

Lite, Pro, and Ultimate annual plans with progressive feature access

Pro and Ultimate include additional marketing and promotional services
-
Pro/Ultimate plans renew annually unless cancelled at least 7 days before renewal
For Labels:

Starter, Pro, and Ultimate annual plans with scaled track/artist management

A VIP plan may be offered by invitation only and is not publicly purchasable
Each subscription level has defined pricing and service limits. You are responsible for reviewing and selecting the appropriate tier for your needs.
4. Payment Terms

All subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)

Pricing is displayed in GBP and may be converted based on your region

By subscribing, you authorize SonicScoop Music to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (for Pro/Ultimate plans)
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
5. Use of Platform
You agree not to:

Upload any content you do not own or have rights to distribute

Infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property

Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or misuse any part of the platform

Engage in artificial streaming, click fraud, or manipulation of DSP metrics

Use offensive, hateful, or defamatory language in metadata, images, or communications
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
6. GIFT CARDS (UK VALIDITY)
Weird.inc Ltd issues gift cards under UK consumer law. As the United Kingdom does not impose a mandatory minimum validity period on gift vouchers, all Weird.inc gift cards expire 6 months from the date of purchase. This expiry period is clearly disclosed at the point of sale and complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Gift cards are redeemable only in the United Kingdom. Should the company expand sales to EU territories, alternative validity periods will apply to EU-based customers in accordance with EU consumer protection rules. Gift cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value.
7. Content Licensing and Ownership

You retain full ownership of all music/content you upload.

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to distribute it to digital platforms (DSPs), collect royalties, and process metadata.

If you cancel your subscription, your releases will be removed from DSPs unless otherwise agreed.
Royalties will be split as per your chosen plan and may be subject to a 10% commission (or more if specified) payable to SonicScoop Music.
8. Metadata & Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that all metadata (track names, ISRCs, credits, cover artwork) is accurate and legally compliant. We reserve the right to:

Reject or edit metadata that is misleading, illegal, or violates DSP guidelines

Remove content that causes infringement claims or violates platform rules

Request documentation proving ownership or permission to distribute
9. Taxes & Reporting

Weird.inc Group handles tax reporting, VAT/Withholding, and royalty distributions based on your territory and applicable laws.

You may be required to submit tax identification or documentation (e.g., W-8BEN, W-9)

Payments may be delayed or withheld if tax requirements are not fulfilled
10. Termination & Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard or email

No refunds are provided for mid-term cancellations

SonicScoop Music may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or fraudulent activity
Upon termination, content may be removed from DSPs and royalty earnings paid out after a final audit.
11. Platform Access & Availability
We strive to maintain 24/7 platform uptime. However, we may:

Perform scheduled maintenance

Introduce feature updates

Suspend access temporarily due to technical issues
We are not liable for losses due to temporary downtime, delays, or third-party outages.
12. Limitation of Liability
SonicScoop Music and Weird.inc Group Ltd are not liable for:

Any direct or indirect damages from your use of the platform

Royalty changes caused by DSP policies or global exchange rates

Account suspensions due to DSP complaints or content takedowns

Losses caused by inaccurate data or delays in metadata correction
13. Intellectual Property of SonicScoop Music
All branding, logos, user interface elements, and proprietary software belong to Weird.inc Group Ltd and may not be copied, distributed, or altered without written permission.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
